Buying pre-loved Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton doesn't have outlet stores, run sales or sell through discount retailers, so a site calling itself a Louis Vuitton outlet should be treated with caution. The genuine way to buy LV for less is pre-owned: these are Louis Vuitton bags listed at £500 or under on the resale marketplaces we index, many of them Pochettes and smaller canvas pieces. Buy from a seller that authenticates, and check the date code and the condition of the corners and vachetta.
Louis Vuitton stamps a date code or, on newer pieces, embeds a microchip, and the coated canvas is the reason so much of its output survives decades of use. Monogram and Damier are the workhorses; Epi and Empreinte leather age very differently, which is worth knowing before comparing two listings by price alone.
Nuvinty compares listings; condition, authentication and returns are handled by the retailer or marketplace selling the piece.
Frequently asked questions
How can I be sure I'm buying authentic Louis Vuitton bags?+
Nuvinty is a price-comparison index — we link you to listings from established resale marketplaces and retailers, many of which offer their own authentication or money-back guarantee. Always buy from a source that authenticates items, check serial or date codes where relevant, and read the seller's returns policy before purchasing.
Why buy pre-loved Louis Vuitton bags?+
Buying pre-loved can mean paying less than the current retail price for Louis Vuitton pieces, and it keeps an existing piece in use rather than buying new.
