Does Chanel go on sale?

Never discounts its handbags

No, not in any public sense. Chanel does not put its handbags on sale, and new classic bags are sold only in its own boutiques. Reports from other markets describe quiet end-of-season markdowns on ready-to-wear, shoes and seasonal accessories, offered to existing clients first; whether UK boutiques do the same is unclear. There is no Chanel outlet at Bicester Village.

Does Hermès go on sale?

Never discounts its bags

No. Hermès does not hold public sales on its leather goods. These are sold only in Hermès stores and on hermes.com, and Birkin and Kelly bags are sold in stores only. Surplus stock goes through staff and private sales; BoF reports these bring in more than €100 million a year. Hermès has no outlet at Bicester Village.

Does Louis Vuitton go on sale?

Never discounts

No. Louis Vuitton says it "never marks down its prices". It sells only through its own stores, louisvuitton.com and 24S, and it has no outlets. The brand warns that discounted Louis Vuitton found online is probably fake unless it is second-hand. There are no Black Friday or seasonal sales, and Louis Vuitton has no Bicester Village store.

• Prices rise once or twice a year: US handbag prices went up on 27 May 2026 (about 2–6%), after two US rounds in 2025 (April and August). Whether UK prices changed on the same date is unclear.

Does Rolex go on sale?

No sales; sold at list price through Official Rolex Retailers

No. New Rolex watches are sold only through Official Rolex Retailers at list price. There are no seasonal sales, and the most popular steel models (Submariner, GMT-Master II, Daytona) still have waiting lists. Rolex usually raises UK prices in January. There is no Rolex outlet, and Rolex is not at Bicester Village.

• Hodinkee (Mar 2025): waiting times are shortening for some models, but steel Submariner, GMT and Daytona remain the hardest to get.
• Prices rose in January 2026 (about 2.5–6% in Europe). Press reports put the UK average at about 5%; we did not open a UK source to confirm it.
• Rolex Certified Pre-Owned is sold through official retailers such as Goldsmiths and carries a two-year Rolex guarantee.

Does Cartier go on sale?

No sales found; prices rise regularly

We found no evidence of Cartier boutique sales or Cartier discounts in UK department stores. Prices go in the other direction: Cartier raised watch prices on 21 May 2026, and the Tank Louis Cartier went from £9,800 to £10,600. The jewellery, including LOVE and Juste un Clou, was not changed in that round. Cartier has no Bicester Village outlet.

• The 21 May 2026 rise covered watches only (Santos, Tank, Panthère, Baignoire, Ballon Bleu); most rose about 2.5–7%, with some gold models rising more.
• In Korea, Cartier also raised prices in January 2026, and it raised them several times in 2025.
• No Cartier store appears in the Bicester Village directory.

Does Dior go on sale?

Outlet at Bicester Village; no sales on its bag icons found

In part. Dior has an outlet boutique at Bicester Village selling womenswear and Dior Men from past seasons. In some markets Dior is reported to hold end-of-season sales on clothing and shoes, but we could not confirm UK boutique sales. We found no evidence of the Lady Dior or Saddle bags being discounted.

Yes, but mainly through Gucci's own outlets. BoF reports that Gucci has phased out end-of-season sales in its boutiques and cut back on wholesalers that discount. Kering has also stopped online wholesale, so multi-brand sites sell Gucci as concessions where Gucci sets the price. Past-season stock is sold at the Gucci outlet at Bicester Village.

Discounts via outlets and private sales, not its boutiques

Yes, but mainly through Prada's outlet at Bicester Village and private sales. BoF reports that Prada has phased out end-of-season sales in its boutiques and cut back on wholesale, and Prada says it clears all overstock through private sales and outlets. Multi-brand retailers' sales sometimes include Prada clothing; which bags are included is unclear.

• Prada has an e-concession with Farfetch (as at 2022), which keeps pricing under Prada's control.

Does Saint Laurent go on sale?

Sometimes. Saint Laurent has an outlet at Bicester Village. Discounted pieces, including some bags, also appear at third-party boutiques: Lyst UK listed 500+ reduced items at up to 50% off in October 2026. Whether Saint Laurent's own UK boutiques hold sales is unclear. Kering, the owner, has moved multi-brand sites to concessions so that it controls pricing.

• The discounts on Lyst come mostly from smaller partner boutiques, not the brand itself.
• Core bags (e.g. Loulou, Le 5 à 7) were not confirmed as included in UK department-store sales; status unclear.

Does Bottega Veneta go on sale?

No public markdowns in its own stores; outlet at Bicester Village

Not in its own stores. In 2022 the CEO said Bottega Veneta had removed all public markdowns from its regular stores worldwide. Past-season pieces are sold at its Bicester Village outlet, and third-party boutiques do discount some stock: Lyst UK showed 500+ items at up to 47% off in October 2026, including some Intrecciato bags.

Rarely. Celine has an outlet at Bicester Village. Vogue Business reported that multi-brand retailers avoid putting popular names such as Celine on sale early for fear of losing the brand as a supplier. Some third-party boutiques do list reduced Celine (up to 37% on Lyst UK in October 2026). Whether Celine boutiques hold sales is unclear.

Yes, for some lines. Loewe has an outlet at Bicester Village, and Loewe was among the brands in Mytheresa's summer 2026 sale. Lyst UK showed reduced Loewe at up to 41% off in October 2026. We found no evidence of the Puzzle bag being discounted. Whether Loewe's own boutiques hold sales is unclear.

Does Burberry go on sale?

Seasonal sales and outlets, but fewer markdowns than before

Yes. Burberry has an outlet at Bicester Village and is often included in department-store and online sales. Under CEO Joshua Schulman it is cutting back on discounting: in July 2026 it reported more full-price sales and less discounting than a year earlier. On 4 October 2026, outside sale season, burberry.com had no sale section.

• Heritage trench coats and scarves are a full-price focus of the current strategy; how often they are discounted is unclear.

Does Mulberry go on sale?

Seasonal sales plus its own outlets

Yes. Mulberry has its own outlets at Kilver Court in Somerset (near its factory), Bicester Village and Cheshire Oaks. Its bags are also included in department-store promotions: Harrods' Black Friday 2025 sale featured Mulberry. Mulberry runs its own pre-loved section online, which is unusual for a British heritage brand.

Does Van Cleef & Arpels go on sale?

No sales found; prices rise regularly

We found no evidence of Van Cleef & Arpels sales, outlets or retailer discounts in the UK. The brand is not at Bicester Village. Prices have been rising instead: reports from Korea say Van Cleef raised high-jewellery prices by about 6% early in 2026 and raised some products again in March. Alhambra pieces are sold at full price.

Does Tiffany & Co. go on sale?

Never discounts

No. Tiffany & Co. has long had a no-sale policy. A former head of investor relations said Tiffany does not run price-promotion sales on Black Friday or any other day. That covers Black Friday, Boxing Day and January. Tiffany has no outlet at Bicester Village, and we found no UK retailer discounts on new Tiffany jewellery.

• Tiffany has been owned by LVMH since 2021; we found no evidence that the no-sale policy has changed.

Does Omega go on sale?

No brand sales; retailer discounting unclear

Omega does not hold sales in its own boutiques, and it is not at Bicester Village. Its owner, Swatch Group, has acted against dealers who supply discounters, cutting or closing accounts in 2019. Whether UK authorised retailers will give a discount on request is unclear and varies by retailer. Grey-market sellers offer lower prices but provide their own warranties instead of Omega's.

Current-collection watches at full-price boutiques are generally sold at list price; whether other UK retailers discount them is unclear.
