Louis Vuitton Neverfull Sizes: BB, PM, MM and GM in cm

The Neverfull comes in four sizes: BB (a mini with a crossbody strap), PM, MM and GM. MM is the best-known size, and Louis Vuitton says it holds a 13-inch laptop. Louis Vuitton's current pages measure the MM and GM at their widest point (the top, with the side laces loosened), which is why you will see 47 cm quoted officially against about 32 cm on older pages and most resale listings, which measure the base.

Checking the size on a pre-loved listing

  • Check whether a listing measures the base or the top. An MM listed at 32 cm and one listed at 47 cm can be the same bag.
  • BB is a different shape from PM, MM and GM: it is a mini with a zip top and a crossbody strap, not a scaled-down open tote.
  • Check the vachetta (untreated leather) handles: darkening and cracking at the top edge are common wear points on older Neverfulls and affect value more than size does.
  • Ask whether the detachable zip pouch is included; it comes with current PM, MM and GM bags and is often missing on pre-loved ones.
  • Measure handle drop if you will carry it on the shoulder over a coat; resellers quote roughly 16 to 24 cm depending on size and wear.
