Cartier Love Bracelet Sizes: How to Measure and Which Size Fits
Reviewed by the Nuvinty editorial team · Last checked
Cartier Love bracelet sizes are in centimetres. Cartier's rule is to measure your wrist and add 1 cm for a tight fit or 2 cm for a looser fit, so a 16 cm wrist usually means a size 17 (close) or 18 (looser). The classic model is 6.1 mm wide and the small model about 3.6 mm wide. Cartier notes that recommended sizes can differ slightly between its collections.

Checking the size on a pre-loved listing
- Measure the thickest part of your wrist, usually across the wrist bone, as Cartier's printable sizer instructs. Measure both wrists, since Cartier notes they differ slightly.
- If you print Cartier's PDF sizer, print it at 100% on A4 and check the scale with a bank card in the marked rectangle.
- The size is engraved inside the bracelet alongside the serial number and Au750 hallmark; ask the seller for a clear photo of the inside engraving.
- Check which closure you are buying: the original classic has two functional screws and needs a second person to put on; newer single-screw and small models have a hinge and can be put on alone.
- Ask whether the screwdriver and certificate are included, and whether the bracelet has had a Cartier polish (which slightly changes the surface but not the size).
Questions
How do I find my Cartier Love bracelet size?
Measure your wrist at its thickest point, then add 1 cm for a close fit or 2 cm for a looser fit, which is the rule printed on Cartier's own pages. If you fall between sizes, Rebag advises sizing up.
What is the difference between the small and classic Love bracelet?
Width. Cartier lists the classic at 6.1 mm wide and the small model at 3.6 mm (3.65 mm on some pages). The size numbers work the same way for both.
What sizes does the Love bracelet come in?
Sizes depend on the model and region. Cartier UK showed 15 to 20 cm for the small yellow-gold model when we checked, and Rebag says sizes run 15 to 21 cm. Contact Cartier for anything outside that.
Can a Love bracelet be resized?
We have not found Cartier guidance confirming resizing, so treat the engraved size as fixed and buy the size that fits.
