Are designer bags sold at vintage fashion fairs and markets?
Vintage fashion fairs and designer markets often include dealers selling vintage designer bags and accessories alongside clothing. What's on offer depends on who is trading that day, so check the organiser's dealer list if you're after something specific.
Are kilo sales any good for designer pieces?
Kilo sales price general vintage clothing by weight, so designer labels are rare and unpredictable. We don't list them unless the organiser says designer pieces are a focus. For designer bags and labels, a designer market, a vintage fashion fair or a specialist shop is a better bet.
What should I check before buying at a fair or market?
Ask the dealer for a receipt with their name and address, what guarantee they offer and how to contact them afterwards. For watches, ask about service history and papers; for jewellery, look at the hallmarks; for bags, ask how the dealer checked it is genuine.
