Where to Buy Pre-Loved Designer Bags in London (2026 Guide)
Reviewed by the Nuvinty editorial team · Checked
London's pre-loved designer bag shops let you see the leather, hardware and stitching in person before you buy, and a UK shop means no import charges. Most are in Knightsbridge and Chelsea, with consignment and vintage couture specialists in Marylebone and a few established names further out.
How we chose: each shop has London premises and specialises in pre-loved or vintage designer bags and fashion. Details come from each business's own website on the date above. Nuvinty has no commercial relationship with any business here and nobody pays to be included.

Before you visit
- Compare prices for the same bag online first on our pre-loved bags pages.
- Check the date code or microchip, the corners, handles and hardware. See serial numbers and date codes.
- Ask how the shop authenticates and what happens if a bag is later found not to be genuine.
- Ask whether the dust bag, box and receipt are included; they matter when you sell on.
Frequently asked questions
Where is the best place in London to buy a pre-loved designer bag?
Knightsbridge and Chelsea, particularly Brompton Road, Beauchamp Place and the King's Road, have the most pre-loved Hermès, Chanel and Louis Vuitton specialists close together. Marylebone has strong consignment and vintage couture shops.
How do London resale shops authenticate bags?
It varies. Several of the shops in this guide say they check every bag in-house, and some add an AI-based service such as Entrupy or a third-party authenticator. Ask each shop how it authenticates and what happens if a bag is later found not to be genuine.
Can I sell my designer bag at these shops?
Many of them buy bags outright or sell on consignment, including Designer Exchange, Love Luxury, Loop Generation, Sign of the Times, CSD and Shush London. Consignment usually pays more but takes longer.
